A Typical Day
We try to get hunters into town a couple hours before sundown the day before your Arizona Big Game Hunt. If you’re an archery hunter, we’ll pick your tags in town. If you’re a rifle hunter, your tags will be mailed when you successfully draw. After a couple hours scouting, we go out for dinner in town and plan for the next morning. Hunters have the option to stay in town in various hotels or to stay in camp in the country!
If you stay in town, we will pick you up in the morning before the hunt. If you stay in camp, typically hunters can get an extra hour of sleep as it takes a while to shuttle. In camp we provide a quick breakfast with coffee, hunters in town can eat at the local diner or the hotel breakfast.
Our prime hours are from sunrise until about 10 am. Lunch is provided in the field with soup and sandwiches. Coues deer are typically bedded in thick brush and stand up to stretch and that’s when we need to be ready to make a move. After the day’s hunt we will head back to camp or take you back to town. We can enjoy a nice dinner in camp or you are welcome to grab dinner with us in town.
* Hunters Flying in: We are 2 hours from Tucson Arizona and 2.5 Hours from Phoenix.
