At Mesquite Hollow Outfitters our incredible Texas wild hog hunts are offered year round! With an abundance of hogs on over 15,000 acres of land, we are able to consistently harvest mature hogs, without putting too much pressure on them. When you arrive at camp for our Texas hog hunts, our guests will get checked into their room, then have full access to our rifle range to sight guns in if needed. The owner of Mesquite Hollow Outfitters, Dakota Sowers, has been guiding for over 6 years and has experience in providing a 5 star Texas hunting adventure for every hunter in camp. Dakota is passionate about providing a most memorable Texas hog hunting adventure for his guests and invites you to come down and chase some Texas wild hogs! For an additional fee, each hunter can add on a fast action morning dove or duck hunt as well!

When our Texas wild hog hunters arrive to camp, they will be greeted by the Mesquite Hollow Outfitters staff and be shown to their room. On most days hogs are not hunted in the morning because they tend to move towards the evening hours more frequently. We offer several different hunting options for the mornings- such as our dove hunting in September – October, as well as our world class waterfowl hunting in November – January. We encourage our guests to try our dove or duck hunt in the morning and hog hunts in the afternoon, for the ultimate Texas hunting experience. On our Texas hog hunts, your assigned guides will take you to your blind a few hours before sunset, for the evening sit. Once you shoot a hog, you can call your guide and they will come out and help you track down your pig and take photos. Quartering of hogs can be done on site for $50 a hog. The hog can then be packed in client’s coolers on their own ice. Meat processing is available close to the lodge as well.

A true gentlemen’s hunt where guides take you right to our custom made comfortable blinds in heart of the migration. We are great at targeting a multitude of species, such as: Pintails, Redheads, Widgeon, Mallards, Gadwall, Canvasbacks and many more! All our guides have a professionally trained retriever to assist hunters in getting their trophy after it is shot. We pride ourselves on a safe, fun quality hunt for everyone who comes into camp! With over 10,000 acres of hunting land we never overshoot any of our spots to ensure successful hunts for the entire season.
