A Colorado law has moved in and we have received 6 in of snow on the ground as of Wednesday afternoon April 19th.
On April 16th we saw heavy migration of flocks flying high and pressing North and very little geese hanging around on the ground.
On April 18th we saw a large flock on the ground up about 8 to 9,000 geese but they are probably all buried by the snow on the 19th. This was the only flock we have seen located on the ground in the past week. Expecting warm weather, the next few days and the geese should be moving again and staying on the ground with increased amount of sheet water.
As of Thursday the 20th we have received well over a foot of snow as it has been snowing for 28 hours nonstop. Rain and freezing rain expected next.
