Kansas Duck & Goose Hunts

At Big Kansas Outdoors we have been guiding Kansas Waterfowl Hunts for 15 years in central Kansas. With many great landowner relationships, we have acquired access to over 50,000 acres. Having 8 full-time guides and only running a couple groups in camp at a time we prioritize quality hunts. Always having scouts on the road ensures you a great Kansas waterfowl experience! Specializing in Mallards, Lessor Canadians, and Specks we have a little of something for everyone. We look forward to having you in camp and sharing what we love to do every day with you.

A Typical Day

Kansas waterfowl hunters will arrive at the lodge after 4 p.m. the night before your hunt. For dinner you will be greeted by Liz and Connie with their famous brick oven pizza. After the guides are in from scouting, everyone signs waivers, and we’ll talk about the game plan for the next day! Breakfast is grab and go style, blind snacks, coffee, and bottled water are accessible at the lodge. The morning of the hunt, everything will be set up ahead of time just hop in the blind and get ready! After the morning Kansas waterfowl hunt, we clean birds, or we have a third party that does it for a small charge. Lunch we will do a variety from chili, burgers. sloppy joes and more! For dinner, we typically do stuff pork chops on night two, and Ribeye’s on night three! On the final day we will do a morning hunt and clients will depart.

ALSO OFFERING: Kansas Spring Snow Goose Hunts

At Big Kansas Outdoors we also offer Spring snow goose hunts! We hunt fresh fields every day, so you won’t be stuck in a migrator rig. These hunts take place in February and into the beginning of March. This is spring conservation so there are no plugs and no limits!! Come join us this spring and extend your waterfowl season.

Lodging & Meals

8-bedroom (2 Queens per room) 5.5-bathroom Kansas Hunting Lodge

Main level and basement

Seating area and bar downstairs with a pool table. Large seating area to sit 16-20 people.

Meals

Breakfast: Grab and go style, granola bars, pop tarts, etc.

Lunch: Chili, Burger, Sloppy Joes and more

Dinner: Brick Oven Pizza, Stuffed Pork Chops, Ribeye’s

Goose / Upland Combo Hunts – January & February
$1,800 per hunter (3 days lodging and 2 upland hunts and meals)

$500/hunter/day upland hunt only

Deer Hunts
$4,000 per hunter (4.5 days hunting, 5 nights lodging and meals)

Ben Webster is born and raised in Kansas, he’s been guiding for 15 years in Central Kansas and Canada for 6. Ben hunts waterfowl more than 240 days a year… Hunting more than 8 months a year it’s safe to say it’s in his blood to chase birds!
