At Benelli Boyz, we are located on the edge of Missouri Cateau in southern Saskatchewan, in an area that has long been referred as “the duck factory” or the “prairie pothole region” of North America. This area lives up to the name with incredible numbers of both resident ducks and Canada geese as well as being located on a migration route. The diversity of waterfowl in our area is as good as you’ll find anywhere! It’s not uncommon to harvest 15 different waterfowl species during your hunt. Our Saskatchewan waterfowl hunts are conducted on dry private fields and local water holes. On any of our guided waterfowl hunts, we only use top of the line equipment and decoys, building the best spreads available to suck in those big flocks. Often, we see limit hunts or close to limit hunts in the morning, allowing for an afternoon in the upland bird fields, chasing sharp-tailed grouse and Hungarian partridge. Our World Class caliber guided Saskatchewan duck and goose hunts start around 4 a.m. We kick off the morning with a hot continental style breakfast. After that we head out to the field for a memorable guided waterfowl hunt. At Benelli Boyz our guided hunts can be customized to your preference depending on the birds in the area. We can chase ducks, dark geese or snow geese, to meet your expectations. The morning Saskatchewan waterfowl hunts typically last until about 11 a.m. or until we limit out. After our morning hunt, we will head back to the lodge for lunch and some leisure time. After that we’ll head back out to a new field if we need to complete our waterfowl limit, or we’ll spend the evening on a World Class caliber Saskatchewan upland hunt for sharp-tailed grouse and Hungarian partridge.

In our location we have one of the highest density populations of Sharp-tailed grouse in North America providing the finest upland wing shooting experience. Our hunts are for Sharp-tails and Hungarian partridge with great flushes on each. All of our hunts are over professional pointers and close working lab flushing dogs. We encourage our hunters to bring their dogs if they prefer. Many of our hunter’s combo their waterfowl hunts with the upland hunts so they can chase waterfowl in the morning and upland in the afternoon. This is the hunt that we recommend to all of our hunters to not only ensure that you have an afternoon hunt but it’s nice to walk the fields after sitting in the blind in the morning.
