Michigan Duck Hunts

At MI Guide Service, Captain Jeremy Ullmann specializes in giving all of his clients an Incredible and unique Michigan duck hunting experience. He offers layout boat hunts on Lake St. Clair for many different species of diver ducks including: Trophy caliber Canvasbacks, Redheads, Greater and Lesser Scaup, Ruddy ducks, Buffleheads, Goldeneyes and more. In addition to his diver duck hunts, he also offer sea duck hunts on Lake Huron, also out of layout boats, for Long tailed ducks and the occasional Scoter. Since Jeremy runs two single man layout boat, he can accommodate 2 – 5 hunters per day. He looks forward to taking you on the Michigan duck hunting adventure of a lifetime!

A Typical Day

On a typical day of Michigan diver duck hunting on Lake St. Clair with Captain Jeremy Ullmann, he will pick you up at your hotel an hour before shooting time (Guide recommended hotels available in the area). You and your best hunting buddy will have their own layout boat overlooking a fantastic spread of diver duck decoys. Get ready as the hunting gets fast and furious quickly out here! Now it is “Hunters Choice” as to what species you are looking for. The Michigan duck hunting limit is 6 ducks per day (2 Cans, 2 Redheads and 3 Scaup). With Captain Jeremy manning the tender boat you are sure to have a most enjoyable and rewarding experience. This is an “All Day Hunt” or until you limit out. For those wanting to target the long tailed ducks, a separate hunt to Lake Huron can be arranged as well. Call now for limited availability for the upcoming Michigan duck hunting season!

ALSO OFFERING: Alaska King Eider Hunts

In addition to our incredible Michigan guided duck hunts in the fall, Captain Jeremy also offers guided hunts for King Eiders, Harlequin and Old squaws in Alaska over the winter. This hunt is once in a lifetime hunt and a must for any waterfowl hunter! This hunt is located off of St. Paul Island and is home of the King Eider. If you want to harvest a King Eider this is the best place to do it! Typically hunting takes place mid morning for a few hours or until limits are taken or the birds are done flying. This is an all inclusive hunt which includes food and lodging. Being that this hunt only from the end of December to the end of January, it books up very quickly. About The Outfitter

Captain Jeremy Ullmann grew up hunting and fishing Lake St. Clair from a young age. His Grandpa and Uncle brought him fishing every weekend as a young boy. When Jeremy turned 16 his best friend and his Dad took Jeremy out on his first diver duck hunting experience using a layout boat. From there Jeremy was hooked on diver hunting! Since then Jeremy has been a professional guide on Lake St. Clair for over 9 years now and started his own outfitting business in 2014. Jeremy is also a sea duck hunting guide on St. Paul island Alaska in late December so he has hunted the harshest conditions in the world and knows what it takes to provide a safe and successful duck hunting experience for his clients.
