Moen is an accomplished wildlife artist. He has twice won the Minnesota Duck Stamp Contest. He has done annual sponsor prints for MN Waterfowl Association, MN Ducks Unlimited & T. I. P. He has placed 2nd in the Minnesota Duck and Pheasant Stamp Contests and has four times finished in the top six in the Federal Duck Stamp Contest. In 2011 Thomas placed 4th in the Minnesota duck stamp contest and in 2010 Moen was accepted into the Wild Wings Fall Festival Art Show.
