Located in the heart of South Dakota near Pierre, SD Our kennel and hunting lodge is located at 2940 296th Ave Pierre, SD 57502. At our kennel we have access to every type of hunting grounds needed to ensure a well-rounded retriever. From our premier training ponds, to every type of habitat your dog will encounter we have it all. Our goal is to be able to offer you a dog you can be proud to bring with in the field next fall. No matter what your goals are for your dog, we can accommodate your requests.

About The Kennel

Highpoint Labradors has been dedicated to training hunting dogs since 1997. The respect and time devoted to this line of work is what makes me the kind of trainer you want for your dog. Training dogs is not my hobby, it’s my profession. After years of training my own retrievers and experiencing the joy and satisfaction of watching my dog work and hunt is what made me decide to spend my time training dogs.

Through experience I have learned that each dog learns differently. Patience, persistence and devotion to training dogs all play a major part of helping your dog reach it’s potential. Our dogs are competitors and avid hunters but have the ability to flip the switch at the end of the day to be that companion you want them to be.
