Highpoint Labradors has been dedicated to training hunting dogs since 1997. The respect and time devoted to this line of work is what makes me the kind of trainer you want for your dog. Training dogs is not my hobby, it’s my profession. After years of training my own retrievers and experiencing the joy and satisfaction of watching my dog work and hunt is what made me decide to spend my time training dogs.

Through experience I have learned that each dog learns differently. Patience, persistence and devotion to training dogs all play a major part of helping your dog reach it’s potential. Our dogs are competitors and avid hunters but have the ability to flip the switch at the end of the day to be that companion you want them to be.

At Top Flight Golden Retrievers we strive to produce healthy AKC registered golden retrievers- who love birds and water- who can’t wait to jump into your truck for a day’s hunt- but who will gladly sleep on your bed at night if you let them. All of our golden retrievers live in the house with us. They have health clearances for hips, elbows, eyes and heart as do the studs we use. They demonstrate the drive, focus and perseverance of the Field Trial Champions abundant in their pedigrees. We only have 2 – 3 litters per year, so reservations are highly recommended!

SPECIALIZING IN AKC REG. & HUNT TEST PROVEN CHESAPEAKES

Grand Oaks Chesapeakes is a family run kennel located in south central Wisconsin (near Eau Claire). We emphasise well-trained and socialized hunting Chesapeakes. All of our breeding dogs are proven hunting dogs. Our dogs are exposed to many birds during their training. We believe in making training fun for the dogs. They begin retrieving live birds before they are 7 weeks old. We feel socialization is important for the puppies’ confidence and becoming a well-loved member of the family. In addition to puppies, we occasionally have started dogs for sale. All of our dogs hunt waterfowl & upland birds. They are also part of our family.
